Mehta Publishing House: The Fountain's Magic - Magical metamorphosis of an Indian woman

Discouraging terms such as global economic crisis, inflation, pay-cuts, cut-downs, depression etc. were reverberating around me as I stood at the book-store. That's when the word 'magic' caught my eye, maybe this is what was necessary to turn around the prevailing gloomy situation. I turned around to read carefully. The title of the book 'The fountain's magic' and the dark silhouettes on the cover page were attractively designed to increase my interest. The final decision was made after reading the intriguing synopsis on the back page. So, this weekend I planned to read Mehta publishers', 'The fountain's magic' written by Marya Rahator.

As, I followed the fine print in the book the fictitious characters transformed into real individuals in my mind. An innocent story that bloomed in the captivating scenic beauty of 'Wellington' ...loneliness and ugliness of betrayal... The story kept me glued in anticipation till the end due to its unpredictable characters and surprising twists and turns that unfold as a reader progresses.

This book's a fine piece of contemporary Indian literary work. It comprises of vivid description of individuals, experiences and nature. The pleasant feeling lingers on even after you finish reading the book; it definitely leaves you more confident to face the vicissitudes in life, positively.
